The German Leaguez started with a CoD4 Promod 3on3 SD ladder.





They want to test the use of Promod and hope that ProMod can replace PAM.

The PAM mod, made by Bulletworm, always ensured cheatfree leagues. But after the latest CoD4 updates some bugs appeared.

The makers of the ProMod fixed those bugs and added some stuff to Pam and called it ProMod.

Infinity Ward Community I- Wiki is back online !


After a technical blunder during the creating of the new Infinity Ward Forum the verry important CoD Wiki pages were gone; probably they deleted the Wiki folder by mistake...

But since today they managed to get the I-Wiki pages back on line. Seems to be an old back-up version because it seems some of the newest pages are still missing.

CoD 4 Linux 1.7 FiXed Patch - Call of Duty 4 Linux Servers

A new FIXED patch for Call of Duty 4 is now available.

This patch makes the Linux server compatible with 1.7 clients.

This patch can be used to create a new server (if you supply the retail data files) or patch an existing server to 1.7.

Cod4 patch 1.7 - Error during installation.


When you want to install the new 1.7 CoD4 patch you get this error :

"installation could not be at the patch specified"


The "could not be at the patch specified " is a known problem.

It's because of the installer and you having CoD4 not installed on the standard location.

But to update to 1.7 can be done without the patchX.exe file.

You only need the set of files that are new or updated and put them on your PC.

You can re-install CoD4 and use the standard location OR download Zip-file with updated 1.7 files.

code_post_gfx_mp.ff ERROR COD4 Patch 1.6/1.7


After installing the CoD4 1.6/1.7 patch and joining a CoD4 server you get the "code_post_gfx_mp.ff different from the server" ERROR screen.

Check if you have 2 folders in your zone folder.

Standard path is C:|Program Files|Activision|Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare|zone

Copy all into english folder. (or your language folder)

Example :

Copy everything from |zone|german Folder into |zone|english Folder.

If correct problem solved.

NOTES:
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.
- Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language.

*Please note. You must already have installed 1.6 to use 1.7.

The release date for the Call of Duty 4 version for Macintosh/Apple is now set to August 25, 2008.

Till last week this website used information from posts made by modders and mappers in the special sections on the IW forum. So all the latest news about new released custom maps and mods, plus the various updates, had this great place to be distributed from.

But not anymore... Since monday this IW forum is gone!

There was also an other official CoD4 forum. As a part of the promoted CharlieOscarDelta.com - Activision's official CoD4 website. Like I said... was. Because since monday the CharlieOscarDelta.com stopped to excist. In less then a year since the release of Call of Duty 4 they decided to stop with the CharlieOscarDelta.com website.

Stop? Yea.. just close it. And redirect all back to Activision's official main site for Call of Duty : callofduty.com. This Call of Duty site is now restyled with a CoD:World of War theme; complete with this NEW (!) CoD: World of War forum.
